PIGEON ANTILLES

Hello everybody.

My name is Antonio Martins.

I work onboard a vessel in Brazilian Atlantic Ocean, in oil production bussines.

Last week, we are working in south Brazil, around 100 nautical miles from land (coordinates 27º 06' 33'S 040º 34' 07'W - take a look on Google Earth) and a pigeon landed on our vessel.

This pigeon have a ring on the leg, with the identification MAROC 04742.

Looks like he came from Morroco?!

It's a very long trip to our small 'great' voyager, isn't?

We are keeping the pigeon on a cage, with plent food and fresh water.

Can someboy tell me something more about our flying hero?
